Doesn’t this describe social media perfectly?

Social media encompasses all of the great tools we have on hand to share our messages with the masses. I can sit in my living room and tell thousands of people via twitter whatever I want. That doesn’t mean I should take advantage of that privilege and spend my social media currency on broadcasting. I should spend that time engaging in and creating conversations. That way, when I have something important to say…people will listen.
